Greetings fellow foodies! Are you ready to indulge in an incredible culinary experience? Look no further than our favorite spots to eat, starting with the one and only Nobu.
For those of you in NY you've probably heard of it and for those visiting, we highly recommend to go try. Nobu, located in the heart of New York City, is a Japanese restaurant that offers a truly unique and unforgettable dining experience. With its sleek and modern décor, Nobu sets the perfect ambiance for a luxurious evening out. The menu is a fusion of Japanese and Peruvian cuisine, with dishes that are both visually stunning and delightfully tasty. If you're in the mood for something fresh and light, try the tuna sashimi with jalapeno or the crispy rice with spicy tuna. For those who crave a heavier meal, the black miso cod or the Wagyu beef will not disappoint. And of course, no visit to Nobu is complete without a taste of their famous dessert, the bento box of chocolate soufflé and green tea ice cream. Trust us, you won't regret it.
Next up is Tao, another gem in the heart of Manhattan. Tao is an Asian-inspired establishment that boasts a beautiful and spacious interior, complete with a stunning 16-foot Buddha that watches over the diners. The menu is diverse and offers a wide range of dishes from different regions of Asia, including China, Japan, and Thailand. One of our must-try dishes is the wasabi-crusted filet mignon, which is cooked to perfection and melts in your mouth. The sushi at Tao is also top-notch, with fresh and creative rolls that are sure to please. But be sure to save room for dessert, as the giant fortune cookie filled with white and dark chocolate mousse is simply divine.
Now let's bring it back to Nashville (and for those visiting you must try), where we have three outstanding restaurants that are not to be missed. First on the list is Virago, located in the trendy Gulch neighborhood. This Japanese-inspired restaurant has a lively and energetic atmosphere, making it the perfect spot for a night out with friends or a date. The sushi at Virago is some of the best in town, with a wide variety of rolls that are both traditional and inventive. We recommend the hamachi jalapeno roll, which has just the right amount of heat and flavor. If you're not in the mood for sushi, the wagyu beef tataki or the miso cod are both excellent choices. And don't forget to cap off your meal with the black sesame creme brulee – it's to die for.
Locust, also located in the Gulch, is another excellent option for those looking for a more fine-dining experience. The menu is a mix of Italian and French cuisine, with dishes that are both classic and contemporary. We highly recommend the mushroom risotto, which is rich and creamy and full of flavor. The roasted chicken with rosemary and garlic is also a must-try, as it is cooked to perfection and served with a delicious gravy. And if you're feeling indulgent, go for the chocolate hazelnut torte – it's sinfully decadent.
Last but not least is Kayne Prime Steakhouse, located in the swanky neighborhood of The Gulch. Kayne Prime is known for its top-quality beef, which is sourced from local farms and aged for a minimum of 28 days. The steaks here are truly exceptional, with options ranging from the classic filet mignon to the more exotic Japanese wagyu beef. And if you're looking for something a little different, try the duck confit or the lamb chops – both are cooked to perfection and full of flavor. The sides at Kayne Prime are also outstanding, with options like truffle mac and cheese and creamed spinach that are the perfect complement to your meal.
There you have it, folks – our favorite spots to eat, both near and far. Whether you're in the mood for Japanese, Asian-inspired, or classic steakhouse cuisine, these restaurants are sure to satisfy your cravings and leave you with a memorable dining experience. Bon appétit!
